The Brief & Approach

Laura Comfort is a founder-led wellness brand spanning multiple verticals — including podcasting, education, supplements, writing, and music. The brief was to bring these elements together under a single, coherent digital platform that could support both present activity and long-term growth. My role focused on website strategy and development, alongside ongoing strategic business advice — shaping how the brand is structured, presented, and monetised online, while ensuring flexibility as new offerings are introduced.

Website Strategy & Experience Design

The website was designed and built as the central hub of the brand — acting simultaneously as an authority platform, content library, and sales engine. Structure, tone, and flow were carefully developed to support education, trust-building, and conversion without feeling transactional.

Platform Architecture & Sales Flow

The platform integrates content, services, and booking pathways into a single, cohesive experience, allowing the brand to scale without constant rebuilding. The platform was supported by a detailed brand book and a members-only community strategy, ensuring consistency, scalability, and commercial longevity

Role & Digital Delivery

  • I led a deep brand discovery process to fully understand the founder’s vision, values, and persona. This resulted in a comprehensive brand book defining tone of voice, visual identity, colour palette and usage, typography, and brand expression — providing a clear framework for how Laura is represented across all digital and editorial touchpoints.

  • I defined the website’s structure and information architecture, ensuring the platform could support multiple content types, commercial offerings, and future initiatives while remaining intuitive and coherent for users.

  • I designed and built the website as a central brand hub, bringing together diverse content and commercial strands into a clear, navigable experience. Structure, hierarchy, and flow were carefully considered to ensure cohesion across the platform

  • I set up a private, members-only forum within the website, designing both the technical structure and user experience. Alongside this, I developed a strategy for positioning the community as a commercially viable additional revenue stream — balancing exclusivity, value, and long-term scalability

  • I advised on how products, services, and memberships are integrated into the platform, shaping user journeys that feel natural and considered rather than overtly sales-driven

  • Alongside digital delivery, I act as a strategic advisor to the founder, offering guidance on positioning, monetisation opportunities, and platform evolution as the brand continues to grow.
